Dr. Z, a native of western Pennsylvania is a board certified specialist in oculoplastic-orbital and reconstructive surgery. He obtained his Doctorate of Medicine from the University of Pittsburgh’s School of Medicine and Master of Science from the University of Pittsburgh’s School of Public health. He served his residency in ophthalmology and a fellowship in oculoplastic-orbital surgery at Duke University Medical Center. He was Board Certified in 1991.
Dr. Zuravleff has been an Associate Professor at the UVCU Medical College of Virginia and attending surgeon at the Veteran’s Administration Medical Center. For many years he taught physicians at the Medical College and VA Hospitals in the field of oculoplastic and orbital surgery. His is also the past Chief of Staff of the Richmond Eye and Ear Hospital and Stony Point Surgical Center.
Dr. Zuravleff is a member of state and national medical societies and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons (FA CS). As an oculoplastic-orbitofacial surgeon since 1991, he has managed the care of more than 25,000 patients with functional and aesthetic issues of the face.
